Context

Har-Tru, known for court surfaces and premium play, needed animation assets for digital campaigns. Owen Design Co. led art direction; I was brought in to develop motion that could carry the brand across channels.

Problem

The brand had strong tactile and craft cues but no defined motion language. Digital campaigns risked feeling generic or disconnected from the product. The client needed motion that felt dynamic for digital while preserving brand texture and the fluidity of play.

Your Role

  • Designed the motion and animation system aligned to brand and art direction
  • Built the animation compositions and export-ready modules for campaign use
  • Collaborated with Owen Design Co. (Zeynep Hall) on visual direction
  • Delivered a reusable motion toolkit for broader marketing deployment

Approach

I focused on motion behaviors that echoed the fluidity and precision of the sport — using curated overlays and channel treatments in After Effects to keep a tactile, high-performance character. The system was built so it could be repeated across formats without losing consistency.

Outcome

Brand storytelling quality improved in digital channels. The team gained a reusable motion toolkit that supported future launches without starting from scratch. Agency: Owen Design Co. with Zeynep Hall. Role: Photographer / Motion collaborator.
