Context

Content Ops is a content operating platform. Primary users are marketing and content operations teams managing recurring campaigns across web, social, email, and paid channels. Secondary users are creative leadership and production partners who need visibility into readiness, dependencies, and release quality.

Problem

Content teams produce strong creative but struggle with operational consistency. Assets are scattered, approvals are opaque, and channel-specific adaptations are rebuilt repeatedly under deadline pressure.

Your Role

  • Led product and workflow design
  • Designed planning + brief, asset governance, and approval layers
  • Built distribution operations (channel packaging, release logic)
  • Owned workflow states and role-based approval logic

Approach

I positioned it as infrastructure for creative performance, not administrative overhead. Strategy: unify planning and assets (briefs, files, channel requirements in one model); standardize decision gates (approvals and readiness explicit and trackable); operationalize distribution (publishing as repeatable workflows). Planning, assets, workflow, and distribution work as one system.

Outcome

In progress. Core operating architecture is established; focus is refining workflow automations and validation rules for high-volume campaign cycles. Next: pilot workflows across a multi-channel sprint, readiness dashboards for bottlenecks, post-launch performance signals back into planning.
